Halloween: A Time to Atonement for the Ego
Halloween is a time of year when many people celebrate the dead and the supernatural. But for Christians, Halloween can also be a time to reflect on the ego and to seek atonement for its sins.
According to Glorian.org, Halloween (or All Hallow’s Eve) marks the end of a 40-day period during which Christians should be sacrificing their ego. On All Hallow’s Eve, we should reflect on how our ego has controlled our thoughts and actions, and we should seek to atone for our sins.
The ego
The ego is where Satan sits to control our thoughts. Our brain has a connection to the ego, and our heart is often put on the back burner. But through prayer to our Father and Mother and action on our part to sacrifice the ego, we can relieve ourselves of our imperfections and start to come back to the path of light.
All Saints’ Day
Starting November 1-2, it is All Saints’ Day. On this day, we praise God that we are starting a new life without the ego bringing havoc to our physical life. We commit ourselves to staying true to the path of light and working towards a better psyche.
During this time, we should also start learning about Esoteric Christianity and bring our Mother Sophia back into our lives. We can start praying to her and seeing what happens. The life that we lived with our ego will be over, and we will be on a new path with new love.
Here are some specific ways that we can atone for the ego on All Hallow’s Eve:
- Reflect on our past actions and identify the ways in which our ego has controlled us.
- Pray to God and Sophia for forgiveness for our sins.
- Make a commitment to sacrifice our ego and to follow the path of light.
- Perform acts of service for others, without seeking anything in return.
- Meditate and pray on the teachings of Esoteric Christianity.
By taking these steps, we can atone for the ego and start to live a more fulfilling and meaningful life on the path of light.
